London Drama's non-residential two day Workshop-Conference: Drama and the Crunch will take place on Thursday 5th April and Friday 6th April 2018 at Goldsmiths University of London, New Cross in partnership with Goldsmiths Centre for Arts and Learning (CAL) and the Department of Theatre and Performance.

The aim of our Conference is to inspire you by bringing together a diverse range of Drama, Theatre and Performing Arts teachers and practitioners, who are currently involved in the field of education, from London and beyond in order to enable links and put you in touch with one another to share current projects and practice.

Job Opportunity- Young People's Programme Coordinator at the National Theatre

Do you have excellent communication, organisational and administration skills? If so we would like to hear from you. 

Learning is central to the NT’s vision for the future.  At the NT, the Young People’s Programme covers all aspects of theatre-making and production; from a first experience of theatre to workshops, family days, short courses and training - providing a variety of opportunities for creative development and progression.

We are currently looking for someone to support the Young People's Programme Manager to build on and diversify this dynamic programme for 16-21 year-olds and families,  as well as supporting the programme administratively and practically. The Programme Coordinator will collaborate with the Programme Manager to open up the NT to the most diverse audiences, working closely with existing and new partner organisations to development long term relationships.

National Youth Theatre seeking partners for outreach workshops as part of Playing Up

this year the National Youth Theatre's Playing Up group are taking a brand new interactive production to schools in the Newham, Lewisham and Waltham Forest areas. As part of the project we will be running outreach workshops in these areas to ensure more young people get the opportunity to access NYT and in particular access the Playing Up inclusion programme for 2018 -19.

We are looking for arts organisations, charities or 3rd Sector organisations that are either interested in us holding taster session at their venue or have a group of young people that they already work with who would be interested in taking part.

If your arts organisation, charity or 3rd Sector organisation is  interested in holding a taster, these sessions would hopefully run in the Easter break (2nd April – 13th April) for between 2 - 4hours and are particularly aimed at NEET 19-25 year olds.

Goldsmiths Arts and Culture Volunteering Marketplace

Here at Goldsmiths we’re looking to engage with more organisations with volunteering opportunities we can promote to our students. We are particularly looking for opportunities within the arts, galleries and museums to meet the demand from our students. We have many students wishing to gain experience in these areas, students which have a fantastic skill set which they are wanting to use in practice.

We will be holding an ‘Arts and Culture Marketplace’ for museums and galleries on Tuesday 20th March between 12 and 2pm.  We would love to invite you to the fair to promote your opportunities. The fair will be free of charge and organisations are welcome to send volunteers to promote their roles.

The Horniman Museum and Gardens Artist Studio Commission - Open Call for Expressions of Interest

We are looking for an artist that may have an interest in exploring memory and with great experience of working with people, and involving communities within their work. The artist will also have experience of exhibition-making in their portfolio of works but is not required to have had past experience of working with museums or museum collections.

The successful artist will join the Collective, the working group who programme the Studio. The artist will be commissioned to create new artwork as part of an exhibition opening to the public in October 2019.
