Nesta funding opportunities

For individuals and organisations to match fund Arts Council or Heritage Lottery funding respectively - launching in September 2016

We’re therefore delighted to launch a matched crowdfunding pilot aimed squarely at the arts and heritage sectors. The pilot will provide two streams of £125,000 in matchfunding to arts and heritage projects that have received backing from the crowd. Nesta is developing the pilot in partnership with Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery Fund and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Crowdfunder will develop the matched crowdfunding platform for the pilot.

Documenting Deptford Project - Creative Facilitator/s sought

The Documenting Deptford project involves collaboration between the NMM and St Stephen’s Primary School in Deptford to produce a co-curated creative outcome for the Dockyard section of the gallery.  

An exciting opportunity for an artist facilitator or facilitators with a passion for working with children and investigating hidden local stories to work collaboratively with the National Maritime Museum  learning team and a Deptford primary school to produce a co-curated artwork. The final piece will draw on pupils’ own discoveries about the maritime heritage of their local area and go on display in the new Tudor and Stuart Seafarers gallery at the Museum.
